Meet Steve Lewis

Owner, EMT-Paramedic, NCCER Safety Technologist

As a young Paramedic in the private EMS industry in 1985, Steve went to work for Acadian Ambulance in Louisiana with the offshore division as a remote Paramedic.

He had the chance to worked on several rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and finally for Transocean in their deepwater division as a rig safety trainer and Paramedic.

Steve eventually came to Malek inc. in 2001 and, has been managing the safety training and overall Safety Direction of 120 to 160 employees for the past 16 years with Malek. He currently holds National Center for Construction Education and Research Certifications as a Field Safety Technologist, Site Safety supervisor, Site Safety Technician.

Steve is also an OSHA authorized trainer for construction OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 hour courses, He recently obtained his OSHA 500 and Osha 510 and is currently striving to complete his dual CSHO from UT Arlington,  Steve Still maintains an active Texas Department of Public Safety Paramedic certification.
